THE STORY BEHIND UNIQUE MEClaudia and Michelle first met years ago when their daughters received therapy services together.Over the years they would see each other now and then. However, they stayed in touch to share information. When Claudia and John decided to open Blossoms Developmental Therapy Associates, Claudia and Michelle’s lives crossed paths again. However, this time was different than before. They were both actively pursuing the same path of making a difference in the special needs community. As they spent time catching up, their friendship further blossomed and they both realized that together they would definitely change things. When they spoke or spent time together the ideas just flowed. One of their many ideas was to provide a publication that would provide families in South Florida with information pertaining to their child with “unique” needs. They wanted to make sure the magazine would benefit families that had a child with a mild learning disability all the way to a child that was wheelchair bound.
